GU || Project timothy: summer 2024

A remote discipleship + ministry internship program for current GU students during the summer.

You’ll receive ministry training, opportunities to lead summer programming, a chance to plan fall programming, and you’ll be invested in through a cohort based learning environment around Scripture and key resource books.

Approximate commitment: 3-4 hours each week.

Participant Compensation: $200 Stipend or $350 in XA Bucks (usable for Retreats, M-Team Trips, and/or Resource Library Books)

Each participant chooses their preferred compensation! This is our only program or role that offers compensation for students and it only is run during the summer months.

The sign-up form will be open though May 9th.

Program Schedule

Cohort A: Sundays from 8pm to 9:15pm (Eastern) on: 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, 6/23, 6/30, 7/14, 7/21.

Cohort B: Mondays from 3pm to 4:15pm (Eastern) on: 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/15, 7/29.

Note: Each participant chooses a cohort based on their own schedule.

Additionally — most, if not all, participants will be facilitating and coordinating Zoom-Based Summer XA Programming in the evening once-per-week and that’ll be decided based on the availability of everyone participating in Project Timothy. This is in addition to Cohort A meetings and Cohort B meetings.
